Drinking in moderation is OK. But consuming alcohol in excess can lead to the deterioration of your immune system, Stanford says. Thereโs evidence from both human and animal research that overconsumption of alcohol decreases immune reactivity, reducing the bodyโs ability to fight infection, Wedner says. The 2015-20 Dietary Guidelines for Americans advises women who choose to drink to have no more than one a day; men should consume no more than two drinks a day.

Trees
Joyce Kilmer
I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth's sweet flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in Summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree.

~ Susan Sontag
