To laugh is to risk appearing a fool
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out for another is to risk involvement
To expose your feelings is to risk
exposing your true self
To place your ideal, your dreams before a crowd
is to risk their loss
To love is to risk not being loved in return
To live is to risk dying
To hope is to risk despair
To try is to risk failure
Yet risks must be taken
Because the greatest hazard in life is risking
The person who risks nothing

COVID-19 Is a Bummer – It Can’t Stop Good Things From Happening
Here are a few of the good things I witnessed or experienced today:
- I’m healthy. I feel great. I have food in the fridge. Looks like my cup is overflowing.
- So many of my blog readers have great, inspiring blogs. Thank you for making a difference!
- Today is one of those days when my soul feels at rest and I know. A moment of grace. Grateful.
What I share are seemingly small and inconsequential things, but they are priceless to me.
Grateful for all the above.
