COVID-19 Is a Bummer – It Can’t Stop Good Things From Happening
Here are a few of the good things I witnessed or experienced today:
- One of my five daughters recently moved to Texas (very good thing). She drove 60 miles to have lunch with me. We worked together and made a very healthy frittata for lunch. Grateful.
- When it was time for my daughter to leave we went to the cemetery and visited my wife’s and her mom’s grave. I remembered all the moments of love. I’d do it all over again. Grateful.
- Birds singing, lizards crawling, butterflies darting aimlessly, what’s not to like or appreciate? Grateful.
- We’re another day closer to a solution. Keep doing what you’re doing. Keep doin it over and over again. We’ll beat this thing. Don’t give it power. Stay strong, laugh a lot (at least a little), and send out a virtual hug. Here’s one for you (HUUUG!)
The little things are priceless treasures to me. They brighten my day. I hope your day is filled to overflowing with the little things that make life worth living.
Grateful for all the above.
