On December 21, 2020, there will be a conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn. I’ve been observing these two planets in my southern sky for the past week. They are growing closer together. On the 21st they will be only 0.1 degree apart. It’s an infrequent occurrence. When I observe conjunction of the two planets I am reminded of Psalm 8 3:4:
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
