A friend gave me a great piece of advice early on in my career. She said, “Ray, if a good opportunity knocks, grab it and hold on for dear life. You’ll figure it out. If you let it pass you by, you can be sure it won’t knock on your door again. I followed her advice. Sometimes, I thought I was going to drown, but I learned to swim. Her advice worked for me. Cast fear and doubts aside. Go for it. You’ll surprise yourself and all your doubters. Thanks, Orpha.
