“It is our stories that will recreate us, when we are torn, hurt, even destroyed. It is the storyteller, the dream-maker, the myth-maker, that is our phoenix, that represents us at our best, and at our most creative.” ~ Doris Lessing

    1. Thank you for your comment. This post is especially meaningful to me. When my wife died, I began writing as soon as the last family member left. At the time, I wasn’t sure I’d survive the depth of the grief I felt. It was the telling of the story and expressing my deepest emotions without holding back that helped me through this period. Have a great day. Stay healthy. Never quit. Ray

  1. I am very sorry for your loss Ray.

I enjoy reading your posts over a cup of morning coffee. Some inspire and some just make me smile. Either way, it is a great way to start to the day. I am glad to hear that writing them is also helping you.

    1. Thank you for your kind words. Love has always surrounded me, I’ve been blessed. It comes in different ways, but it is there. Love wins. It really does. Shine on!! Ray
