💡 Something to Think About

Our thoughts constantly bombard us. When one thought leaves, another thought takes its place. It is seemingly a non-stop process. If you’re like me, you’re probably hoping your thoughts take a long weekend once in a while (LOL). I can’t stop my thoughts. I can call in a substitute thought to take the unpleasant thought’s place. e.g., if a thought zings me and causes my anxiety to rise, I can insert a substitute thought (a walk through a mountain meadow). Our minds can hold only one thought at a time.
