Conflicts happen in life. They arise at work, home, and between neighbors. How we handle the conflict can build or destroy a relationship. One strategy is to set aside positions and work toward an agreeable solution. If positions are temporarily set aside, there is nothing to defend. This makes all the difference. Try it the next time you find yourself caught in a conflict situation.
