Rise – Def: to assume an upright position especially from lying, kneeling, or sitting.

Babies are great teachers. One lesson babies teach us when learning to walk is to rise after falling. After each fall, the baby picks herself up and takes another step. The baby continues to repeat the process until she is walking and running around. As adults, we take hard hits, we’re knocked to the ground, we can either stay down or rise. There’s nothing to be gained from staying down. There’s everything to gain by rising again and again. Life is meant for the living. Rise up, get off the ground. A good day is waiting for you.
