What is happiness for you? I’ve heard folks say if they hit the lottery they’d be happy. Research proves that money doesn’t make us happy. What makes you happy? I can answer for myself. I am happy when I get off a plane and find family waiting for me with waving arms and shouts of joy. I am happy when I sit alone and feel as if God is sitting next to me. I know it’s a moment of grace. I am happy when I am with people who love me. I am happy when I see the hummingbirds fitting around the yard. I am happy when a neighbor calls out my name and says, “How you doing, Ray?” These are a few of the things that make me happy. What about You?
I am an optimistic, can do, and never quit guy. The spirit of hope indelibly marks my DNA. My research at The Ohio State University helped people discover the best in themselves and change their personal lives, public organizations, and whole communities. I bring the same spirit and enthusiasm to my blog to help those who grieve who find themselves suddenly alone, navigate their grieving. Join my more than 24,300Twitter (@alwaysgoodstuff). They are wonderful things. Meaningful. I’m happy when I write. 🙂
HI Terveen, You’ve discovered the acorn inside you. Nourish your writing acorn and watch it grow into a giant oak. It will happen. You’ll be filled with happiness as you watch it grow. Have a great day. Shine on. Ray
