The same event can happen to two people, and one views it as a positive and one views it as a negative. So try to see the good side of the things and people around you; it can help you stay free of anxiety and depression
I’ll plant two patio tomato plants to go with my herb garden. A homegrown tomato, delicious
Gardening
Get out there and get your hands in the dirt. Gardening makes your brain release mood-boosting chemicals that can help calm your anxiety. Plus, you’ll get some exercise and spend time outdoors, both of which can be good for you, too. If you don’t have your own dirt patch, call a local community garden — they’ll be happy for the help.
The Great Outdoors
Even a plant in the room, or pictures of nature, can make you feel less anxious, angry, or stressed. But it’s better if you get out there. You’ll give your mood a boost, and it can lower your blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and stress hormones, which all go up when you’re anxious.
Challenge Your Inner Critic
You know that inner voice that loves to point out everything that isn’t so great? Try to notice when it takes control of your mood. Sometimes it has a good point and is letting you know about something that needs your attention. But other times, it’s wrong, or it makes things seem worse than they are. Ask yourself, “Is this true?”
Be Kind to Yourself – You’re AOK!
Count Your Blessings
Write down everything that’s good in your life. When you make an effort to look on the bright side, it helps you stay focused on the positive.
Make New Friends
It makes you feel good to spend time with people who care about you. So be open to new relationships, whether it’s someone you meet at the office, gym, church, or park. But be sure to maintain those lifelong connections, too. Studies show the more connected you are, the happier you are.
“Promise Yourself
To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.

Scientists say walking tall with swinging arms helps you feel more positive. Even if you’re not feeling happy, a spirited stroll can help you fake it till you make it.
Holding a grudge will harm you more than the person you’re holding it against. Ask yourself, “What would it take for me to let go of the past?” and notice how you feel when you let go of your anger for a few seconds. Focus instead on a bright future and you’ll feel better for it.
