One can’t feel the beat of the city and remain in the suburbs. It applies to all aspects of life.
Joe: “There are lots of phony scams on the Internet.”
Pete: “That’s for sure.”
Joe: “Give me $19.95 and I can tell you how to avoid them.”
“I follow three rules: Do the right thing, do the best you can, and always show people you care.” ~ Lou Holtz
Were once more on their travels,
But gulping muddy gallons
Great boulders off their balance
Bumped heads together dully
And started down the gully.
Whole capes caked off in slices.
I felt my standpoint shaken
In the universal crisis.
But with one step backward taken
I saved myself from going.
A world torn loose went by me.
Then the rain stopped and the blowing,
And the sun came out to dry me.
“As a writer I have to find platforms that can use this writing process. The internet is one of them.” ~ Paulo Coelho
My dad, who was 95 at the time, passed on a bit of wisdom to me that stays with me. I asked how he was doing. He said, “Ray, I’m coming out of Mass and a woman says, ‘Louie, how you doing?’ I told her, ‘I’m doing great.’ She smiled and went on her way. Tell them you’re doing great. That’s what they want to hear, and maybe you’ll believe it too.” Thanks dad.
Lower Your Blood Sugar
Cardio exercise helps lower blood sugar (glucose) levels and improve insulin resistance if you have diabetes. Resistance training, like weightlifting, is also good. A combination of the two seems to help the most. Talk to your doctor before you start a new fitness routine if you have diabetes, especially if you take insulin or other meds.
Whatever the moment, keep moving. Let regrets wash off your back. Look forward to the next moment and the moment after that. Keep moving. There’s a wide open road in front of you. Keep moving.
