My Star
Robert Browning
All that I know
Of a certain star
Is, it can throw
(Like the angled spar)
Now a dart of red,
Now a dart of blue;
Till my friends have said
They would fain see, too,
My star that dartless the red and the blue!
Then it stops like a bird; like a flower hangs furled:
They must solace themselves with the Saturn above it.
What matter to me if their star is a world?
Mine has opened its soul to me, therefore I love it
“I once asked a bird,
“How is it that you fly in this gravity
Of darkness?”
She responded, “Love lifts
Me.”
~ Hafiz
Life is going to go on whether we’re happy or not; whether we’re riding a high or hanging on through a downer. Slow down a tad and enjoy the ride. It’s the only ride available. C’mon aboard, there’s plenty of room.
Benefits of Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a nutrient that’s important to vision, reproduction, and the health of your blood, brain and skin. Vitamin E also has antioxidant properties. . . . If you take vitamin E for its antioxidant properties, keep in mind that the supplement might not offer the same benefits as naturally occurring antioxidants in food. Foods rich in vitamin E include canola oil, olive oil, margarine, almonds and peanuts. You can also get vitamin E from meats, dairy, leafy greens and fortified cereals. Vitamin E is also available as an oral supplement in capsules or drops. The recommended daily amount of vitamin E for adults is 15 milligrams a day. . . .Caution: Most people get enough vitamin E from a balanced diet.
One of the choices we each can make is to choose between yesterday and tomorrow. What is your choice?
Are you the person who’s going to let those around you know it’s all going to turn out okay. Are you the person who will lift spirits and pump energy into the deflated? If you are, the world is indebted to you. Shine on.
“Position yourself to succeed by doing the other things in your life that rejuvenate you. You can create little islands of time away from your novel that will help preserve your balance. Exhaustion will affect both your writing’s quality and your productivity.”
