    1. Years ago, at church, it was time for the sermon, instead of a sermon, Father Ayers walked around the congregation taking photos. When he finished he turned to the congregation and said, “I’m going to post these photos on the wall in the parish center. Take a good look, some of you will not be here. Maybe it’s time to heal some wounds or tell someone you love them.” That hit me between the eyes. When we returned home, I called my dad and told him I loved him. I told him that everyday (yes, I called him everyday) for the next 15 years until he died. I told him ‘I love you’ as he breathed his last breath. I have been grateful for the powerful lesson ever since. Shine on. Stay strong and healthy. Ray
